Our hand-blown glassware business began in the 1990s and since then we have participated in various international fairs.

We have worked with and developed projects over the last 15 years for major brands such as LEONARDO, EVA SOLO, HABITAT, HARROWDS, EL CORTE INGLES, WILLIAM SONOMA, MARKS & SPENCER, CRATE & BARREL, etc. At a later stage, we also ventured into the crystal sector and became involved in the ambitious project to revitalize the hand-blown glassware in Portugal through the Marinha Grande Mglass brand.

Design and development of new models

Our technical department can decide whether a project is doable based on a simple design, and suggest possible changes to facilitate its practicability.

Reproduction of existing objects

We have an extensive and diversified assortment of moulds, so we are able to reproduce existing models or, alternatively, suggest equivalent objects.

Restoration and recovery of glass and crystal objects

We can either recover or reproduce a damaged object, depending on its state of conservation.

If you wish to reproduce an object, feel free to ask us by providing as many details as possible, preferably with pictures and sizes.

Figueiroa & Gonçalves, Lda was established in 2004 by the two founding partners Gonçalo Figueirôa and Mariana Figueirôa, both having extensive experience in marketing and production of ornamental and utility items. The company thus integrates the skills needed to carry out its activity with various partners in retail and traditional trade, Cash &Carry, large retailers, and even manufacturers and distributors of beverages.

WE MAKE symbolises the activity carried out over the last 15 years by a young and dynamic team. Our work is based principally on the implementation of projects using glass, crystal, stainless steel and plastic, always with the aim of identifying and meeting the needs of our clients.

Our challenges have always involved the creation of new objects, although the reuse of existing moulds is also an attractive opportunity for our skilled workmen, who have inherited their experience from the 260-year old history of hand-blown glassware in the Marinha Grande area, thereby contributing with their mastery to painting, cutting, decal, serigraphy, and pantograph engraving.
